Poet David Fewster and singer/songwriter Heidi Fosner team for an evening of spoken word and music celebrating a highly personal vision of the recent past, current present, and not-too-distant future of the city Neko Case calls "a dusky jewel."
Fewster was a 2003-2004 recipient of an AIP grant from the Tacoma Arts Commission for his book "Diary of a Homeless Alcoholic Suicidal Maniac & Other Picture Postcards" ("raw, funny, foulmouthed, Tacoma-centric"--Jen Graves, TNT; "humor and sadness come through as well as they would in a personal reading on stage"--REAL CHANGE), while Fosner is a former member of the Guadalupe House Band. Join them for a program that well showcase new work along with a smattering of all the Greatest Hits!
