Grudge Match, an original dance and spoken word performance by Callous Physical Theatre, will premiere 8:00 PM Friday and Saturday, December 16 and 17, 2005 at Barefoot Studios, 311 Puyallup Avenue, Tacoma 98421. $12 admission.
Just in time for family celebrations of the holidays, Grudge Match is a satirical look at personal, political, and spiritual experiences of grudge and forgiveness directed by Paul and Joséphine A. Zmolek. The performance draws inspiration from the writings of W. S. Burroughs, historical feuds and duels, rituals of guilt and absolvement, and the personal journals of performers Mary Chase, Stephanie Kriege, Katharine M. Stricker, and Jenna Veatch. The performers enter the “ring” and the Grudge Match commences through a scheduled fifteen round event.

This performance is rated PG for strong language. Buying tickets in advance at Barefoot Studios is recommended as seating is extremely limited.
